Today at 2:40 PM, spotted a lost blue parakeet along Beach Dr SW at Benton Pl. SW – the north end of the treatment plant. Landed on the railing along the sidewalk and eventually flew off to the pine trees by the treatment plant.
UPDATE: Observed the parakeet later this evening just before 6 PM on the beach near the same area of Constellation Park. It was scared away by other birds and flew off toward Alki Point Lighthouse.
We actually had someone drop this little dude off at petco. Hes safe now and up for adoption!
Someone sent us that # with a picture of the bird but didn’t explain – are you the owner or the finder? If the owner, sounds like you’d better contact Petco ASAP, given the comment above.
I picked up this little guy from Petco. I have a largecage with three other budgies and he is doing fine with them. If the owner comes forward, i cangive him back to you. If not, I’ll keep himwith the rest of my flock.

I’m going to return him to Petco in West Seattle today after work so his owner can pick him up.
