I had heard from others that Young’s was a good breakfast place.. but every time i drove by i couldn’t quite bring myself to stop. I was overlooking a gem hidden in plain sight at 9413 16th.. just north of the Roxhill intersection.
Today I stopped.. i just needed a quick breakfast someplace where they wouldn’t look down their nose at my handyguy and thought.. how bad could it be?
On reflection i don’t know where i got the idea that this place wouldn’t be good. If you take a close look at it’s storefront… it’s clean and inviting. The inside is absolutely spotless. And the food… more than plentiful and tasty.
But what really sets this place apart for me was the friendly service… and the breakfast banter of other customers who are clearly regular patrons.
I picked up their menu. They also serve lunch and dinner. I am looking forward to trying both.
