WS Parents Yahoo group??

Hi All – Why is there no Yahoo group for kid/family/parent related posts in West Seattle? It seems like most other neighborhoods in Seattle have one and these are a great resource for all sorts of things. I’ve seen one for WS, but I don’t think it’s used. Am I missing something?

The downside to this yahoo group is there does seem to be a lot of spam on it, and I don’t think there’s an administrator but it does get some traffic.

There are a couple of West Seattle parents groups on meetup.com They are divided up somewhat based on the ages of the kids and of course more aimed at meetups.

people still use Yahoo groups?

Go with Google groups. Way easier to control and use.
