Not to be snarky or anything but WTF? That both shooters end up within a mile of my home is freaking me out a bit…

StringC: If it hadn’t been in our neighborhood, it would’ve been in someone else’s . . .

Therefore, I think a much more relevant question to ask would be: Why is it so easy for people in Seattle — and everywhere else in this country — to get guns?

Would you care to join that discussion?

Seems like there’s never been a better time.

A while ago on TV they said that guns sold at gun shows are sometimes bought by kids on the street 15 minutes later. Background checks are only a partial fix because the shows don’t have to do it.

How about 3 blocks! At least now he’s dead the state won’t have to spend money to prosecute.

FWIW, they are now saying it wasn’t two shooters, just one..same guy both times. Why come to West Seattle? Maybe because people deem it to be “so far away”…guess that didn’t work out too well for him, huh…

Betty T…they’re now reporting that he is NOT dead…shot in the head, being treated at Harborview, but still alive…

FYI, as you probably know, he did die. And in our report on this afternoon’s police briefing, they said he apparently came here on purpose, and contacted an “acquaintance” … So far in all the public information about his family, his criminal record, his firearms ownership, there is nothing to indicate that he lived here or had other close ties. – TR
