Depot last year and it was beautiful. At this time of year their turn over isn’t that fast so you really have to open the rolls to make sure their healthy and not slimy.
I know Home Depot gets scheduled deliveries of sod. If you ask them what day they get it in you can get the fresh stuff. (friends in WS did just that, worked out fine)
I have two friends that recently purchased sod from Home Depot and are not happy with it. Apparently it’s heavy on clay and does not drain well. They may have water table issues (not sure) but never had drainage problems before the new sod. When it rains heavy they call it the slip and slide. Looks good on a nice dry day though….
