Looking for a reliable, reasonable (cost), trustworthy, highly experienced pro for occasional small electrical jobs at my West Seattle home.

I’ve used Keithly Electric twice on small jobs and been very happy. First one was replacing one outlet in the house that quit working and took 10 minutes. Am waiting for the bill on the second job, which was in the crawlspace and took an hour, so I can’t comment on price (yet). Both electricians I’ve had in the house, and the guy on the phone, gave great customer service.

The retail energy prices have doubled over the last ten years, while our electric bills have not gone up nearly as much. The reason is that all of the increase has gone to pay for various wasteful projects in our national infrastructure, like new roads and bridges, rather than energy efficiency measures in homes and businesses. Anyway, I found a good solution for myself. I installed a smart meter from Simply Switch. This device is helping me to identify the source where most of the electricity is going. In this way, I know what to use to save some money.
