Anyone know where we can buy chains at this point locally? If you have bought some – where, when and how much were they?

I bought chains years ago at Big O Tires or Les Schwab (it was in Bellevue near Fred Meyer). I recall them costing about $35 and was told that if I returned them at the end of the season, I could get a refund or something like that, but I ended up keeping them. I don’t think they’ve ever been used, unless they were needed at some point on I-90.

My chains are sized for standard tires on a Honda Civic and I now have a Subaru and am not sure if I still need them. I’ll check tonight and if they’re too small, I’ll post on here to give them away.

We bought them about 2 weeks ago at Schucks in White Center. Ours were about $40 (for a Mazda5), but they said they were snow chains and could break if used on ice. The other option was chains that could be used on ice, but they were about $80.
