Employment Status: Hourly 30-40 hours/week
Reports to: Plant ManagerABOUT THE POSITION:
RLI is seeking experienced individuals in bakery and confection/chocolate production to join this
entrepreneurial team to help produce and package our superb edible products that are sold to
retail locations across the state. A strong fit with our values is also necessary to great
experience.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ( Includes, but not limited to )
Primarily responsible for properly packaging all Goodship Co. products with great detail, accuracy, and quality.
Prepare and package all products according to company Standard Operating Procedures
Safely operate all manufacturing equipment
Fully committed to quality assurance of all products
Ensure that all products are processed and prepared by following the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Contributes to daily cleaning and organization of the facility
Document daily waste, production numbers, packaging targets, and order fulfillment records
Can consistently produce to productivity goals, works quickly, and efficiently
Accomplishes job responsibilities while maintaining a positive, professional, and can-do approach
Be a flexible team player, self-motivated, can work equally well autonomously and with a team
Maintain “manufacturing” stamina. Can stand, bend, reach, lift and stack for a full eight hour shift
Must be able to communicate respectfully, timely, and constructively with everyone on the team
Able to build and sustain great working relationships with team members and management
Comply with all RLI and State requirements for working with recreational Marijuana products
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMust be 21 years or older (This is the law.)
1+ year of direct food production experience ideally in packaging food, baking, confection
or chocolate making.
Experience using and operating food production machinery such as mixers, ovens, extruders, packaging equipment and more
Experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices is a plus
A good understanding of health, safety, and basic hygiene rules
Proven record of work history and glowing professional references
Can frequently lift and/or move heavy, bulky materials (i.e. sacks of flour, boxes) weighing between 20 – 40 pounds; stand, bend, use arms to reach and stretch
A commitment to safety in all areas
Food handlers permit required.
Pass a criminal background check (No felonies in the past 7 years)
