    I need to get a bunch of SmartWool socks, and am trying to avoid downtown — seems like there was a place in the Junction that had lots of socks, but I can’t remember the name. Help?

    The sock place is gone. Maybe the fishing store north of QFC?
    Or, on the way to downtown there’s outdoor research on first near the SODO Macrina or Filsons, can’t remember where they are now.

    The Sneakery (now closed) sold lots of socks, as did our PCC (temporarily closed). Dick’s should have them (Westwood Village) and REI in Tukwila.

    The smartwool website has a store locator, and the closest one is Mountain to Sound Outfitters (Alaska just west of 35th).
