Anyone in the Morgan Junction/High Point/Fairmount Park area hear an alarm go off in the middle of the night fairly regularly? It seems to happen about once a month, but between 9 PM 3/12/13 and 6:30 AM 3/13/13 it went off three different times, each time for several (10ish?) minutes. From where I am (west of 35th, east of Fauntleroy, north of Morgan), it’s hard to pinpoint the location. I think it’s coming from a little southeast of us.
Anyway, anyone out there know whether this is a home, business, other? Any idea whether the owners/occupants are aware of what a nuisance this is? I have to assume that the alarm is not going off this frequently for a legitimate reason.
And yes, I live in a city, noise, yadda yadda… I know that. I don’t complain about sirens and other noises that come with city living. But a security alarm going off for long periods of time (once it was 30+ minutes at about 3 AM) is outside of what people should have to just live with, IMO. ;-)
