Jks3369ParticipantWe are new to town and would love to send some Seattle “Stuff” back to our friends on the East Coast – ie T-shirts, post cards etc – any recommendations on where to get such things that are not too expensive!? Thanks

jissyParticipantJust saw a bunch of cool, custom T-shirts in Seattle Logo Pro in the Junction (enter from the alley, next to the Beer junction). Also, Alki Mail and Dispatch on Admiral have some as does the Flower Lab at the corner of Admiral & California.

dioristMember1. Bacon salt. You can get it in grocery stores or from the manufacturer in SoDo.
2. Anything on the clearance tables in the Space Needle gift shop (no entry fee required).
3. Bundles of fresh rosemary sprigs. Find them practically everywhere–they grow like weeds here.
4. Single-serving packets of marionberry freezer jam. You can’t buy them in the stores, but you can probably work it out with a local diner to buy a few extra off of them at brunch.
