Seattle ScofflawsParticipantI am tired of seeing selfish behavior and people breaking the law so frequently with so little enforcement. I have asked police in the past to enforce various things but enforcement doesn’t happen or the problem is too big to rein in.

JanSParticipantsaw the videos…hope you were paying attention to your driving first and foremost, if you made them..yes, there are people in the world who do this on a regular basis…sadly, it’s a “me” world…and many think they’re above it all

mtnfreakParticipantI hope you are aware of the hypocrisy of calling out others on their traffic infractions by using your cell phone or camera to film while driving.

dhgParticipantToday I learned that that extra space on the freeway at each exit is called a gore point.
You don’t need to drive to record these problems. Have a seat at the bench at Cactus on Alki and record the 4 way stop. For MOST people, it’s a slight slow down. For many it’s not even that.
I am with you, seattle scofflaws, with wishing people would be more considerate of others and obey the traffic laws. But it ain’t gonna happen. The city spent a ridiculous $200K to paint the red marks on the WS bridge. It was an absolute waste of money.

AJPParticipantUm, yeah. I don’t mind people having dashcams or a passenger filming, but you are clearly using your camera while you are driving. You’re as bad as the rest of them.

Seattle ScofflawsParticipantThanks for all of the great material. One from the bridge just this morning.

Seattle ScofflawsParticipantGot really good video last night of a dog that was not only off leash but it pooped and the owners didn’t scoop. This is what we are and have been up against for years despite community meetings, extra patrols from Animal Control, and signs, sign, signs. I know we need more off leash areas but will this prevalent off leash/scoop violations go away? I doubt it. Are there more good owners than bad? It’s hard to tell when I go to Lincoln Park. I always see leash violations, sometimes, in just a few minutes of arriving. Last night it was about 50/50. Please watch this:

BestSiderParticipantoff-leash & pooping bothered you just enough to record and upload a video, but not quite enough to say something to the “scofflaw” when they were right there in front of you?

JanSParticipantyep…the saying right now is….if you see something, say something. You might get a maouthful of crap for it, but every time someone says something, it’s brought to their attention. Eventually, maybe they’d take a hint.

JeannieParticipantThanks for posting the video. Cute dog, stupid humans. I really hope Animal Control is stepping up its enforcement, but they can’t be everywhere all the time. And, true, while I do sometimes say something, I am other times tongue-tied, getting the vibe that my admonishments are not welcome, to put it mildly. Dog owners who are irresponsible (fortunately, the minority) don’t give a damn about admonishments.

Seattle ScofflawsParticipantHere’s the latest (double) violation. A dog off leash and on a playfield:
