DavidFParticipantCheck the lot behind the new Les Schwab.

WSratsinacageMemberThanks for being responsible .. most owners just park it on the street (not legal) and call it good.

kootchmanMemberNo they don’t… some park them temporarily to stock them or work on em before a trip..or are hosting visitors from out of town for a week . but most of us have them in storage. There are hundreds if not thousands of RV owners in WS

WSratsinacageMemberok, maybe most is too strong but 72 hours is the maximum allowed by law. The ones I see on the street, have been there more than 3 days.

skeeterParticipantRats in a cage – you can call the police and they will ticket and eventually tow the vehicle. Happens all the time.
OP – there is a storage facility right next to Home Depot on Delridge. They have spaces available for RVs up to a certain size. I just can’t remember the name of the facility.

ranquet91MemberThe storage facility next to Home Depot is Public Storage, not too cheap though.

skeeterParticipantRV- let us know what you end up finding. My family is thinking of getting a small RV but I have nowhere to store it at my house.

amlParticipantWhen we bought our RV, we couldn’t find any storage in Seattle for less than $125/month.
If cost is not an issue, there’s a place behind the pawn shop off of Fauntleroy near the fire station that we looked at in that price range. Not sure if it’s full or not.
We ended up storing in Auburn for $55/month. It’s about 20-30 minutes to get there, but considering how often we get to use the RV, the drive is worth it for the lower cost.

HMC RichParticipantBeside Les Schwab and behind the Pawn Shop (sort of) is Bridge Outdoor Storage. Go to the website http://www.bridgestoragewa.com. Or call them. 206-204-2222
The first was in Ballard believe but they lease lots at a few locations. Like AML said, prices in Seattle are not the lowest but if you want convenience, give them a try.

alki206ParticipantWe’ve heard people having really bad experiences with Bridge Storage behind Les Schwab. One friend said they charged their CC double each month for five months straight. Each month they phoned them to resolve it and each month bridge storage assured it wouldn’t happen again (their computer or something had a glitch apparently) but it just kept on happening. Eventually they phoned their CC and requested a charge back, as they did not get refunded the one month. The person on the phone at Bridge storage was extremely rude (swore at them multiple times and left terrible messages on the answering machine) apparently they had no right to contact their cc and request a charge back, even after they had been trying to resolve the double charges for 5 months without resolution. Strange but true.

natinstlParticipantMy husband and I park our Airstream at the Public Storage in Normandy Park, 18041 Des Moines Memorial Drive. It’s really not that far if you take 509/518, 20 minutes tops. It’s a nice facility and they have good security. I called the lot next to Les Schwab and they wanted double what we pay at PS. We currently pay $80 a month, but our trailer is only 20 feet so your payment might be more. Lots of RV’ers park there. I also didn’t like the lack of security at the lot in West Seattle. It’s just a flimsy fence.

CaseyKParticipantIt’s pretty popular these days to find RV, Boat, and trailer storage on online storage marketplaces like PeerStorage. Go to https://www.peerstorage.co/ and you will find an abundance of storage and parking options. If you can’t find what you need just send them an email and they will help you find several different options. The service is great and they have a lot of available listings!
