beliciousMemberHi – I’m trying to get back to WS -used to live in an awesome tiny duplex on pigeon point. Looking for a 2 BRish, fenced house that allows pets. Are there any folks out there that have said or can refer me to contacts in the area that might be in the market/business of renting houses specifically. too long out of apartment living to make that work! Thanks much
Belinda

GoGoParticipantGood luck, Belinda. I’ve been looking for the same thing for a few months now, there is nothing out there that is affordable, unless you like disgusting living conditions. :(

trickycooljParticipantNot sure what’s available or if they have anything in the area, but before I decided to buy I searched some of the major realty companies property management sites like these:

Google Property Management Seattle for other agencies. Seems like folks with houses/condos to rent go through the agencies to reduce the amount of work.

SueParticipantI saw a house with a for rent sign the other day on the west side of Fauntleroy, between (I think) Edmond and Hudson (if not that, the next block south). I saw it from the bus while passing by, so don’t know the details. This section of Fauntleroy isn’t usually too high in rent since most people don’t want to live on Fauntleroy.

BonnieParticipantReally? Most people don’t want to live in Fauntleroy? Why would you say that?
July 19, 2012 at 3:47 am #764218
SueParticipantBonnie, that’s what most people around here tell me – that it’s too noisy and too much traffic, and the turnover of renters seems high. I actually rent a house right on Fauntleroy just south of this rental house I mentioned, so it’s definitely not a slight against living on Fauntleroy. I don’t have a problem with it at all.

DFWParticipantHi, all! I just saw this post. We moved from Seattle (and miss West Seattle GREATLY). We’ve had our house on the market but we are now considering renting it. We are VERY pet-friendly. Two beds, one bath, WBFP, deck, patio, spectacular sunsets — up on a hill, views! Great neighbors. Walking distance to Junction, Trader Joe’s. Learn more here (note there are some photos with links to a sale listing, but it is not currently officially listed). Or message me — curious to hear your price range and if it would be doable for us.

DFWParticipantSorry! I thought there was messaging on here. I’d rather not post my regular email address so for these purpose if you could email thelargeporksandwich@gmail.com that would be great. (I know it’s weird.)
