zoezmomMemberBeen meaning to write this rave for a bit…..
Not the usual, gee – the burgers are out of this world (which of course they are) but a wow – what great management!!
We went to Zippy’s and had amazing food but incredibly awful customer service by the cashier, in fact, down and out rude. We almost left.
The next day I called and spoke to the manager, Jesse, who was so professional and apologetic! He assured me that was not the standard and was not acceptable for any of the employees and invited us to return to have dinner on him. We returned a week later and were treated very, very well! He and another member of his team came to the table and delivered our food and thanked us for returning! I was so impressed!!
Yay Zippy’s!!

datamuseParticipantGood for them! Their service is generally very good and I’m glad the manager made up for this incident.

anonymeParticipantRob is usually the counter guy, and I’ve had nothing but great experiences with him. They all remember my name, and I always get great, personal service – not what you’d necessarily expect in a burger joint!

JoBParticipantthe counter guy at zippys has been known to have a bad day or two…
he’s human after all.
and the management has always stepped up and beyond to make customers feel valued…
and not just when there are problems.
their burgers are good..
but i keep going back for the people

zoezmomMemberIt was a gal – who had obviously had a VERY bad day…..working in the public, bad day or not, be polite and respectful.
Zippy’s is the best – so glad they are in WC!!

JoBParticipantzoezmom
well that goes to prove that bad days are not sex dependent, doesn’t it ;->
you are right.. when you work with the public it’s your job to park your attitude at the door.
unfortunately, some days it’s easier said than done
what i like about zippys is that they do go that extra mile to make sure that they have the most positive customer/employee interaction possible.
they succeed remarkably well.

JoBParticipantYou never know when you are going to learn something new..
i stopped in at Zippys for a celebration burger with a friend and discovered that they will make any of the big burgers on the right side in a smaller size.
YAHOO
my world just expanded!
my waistline too.. but sometimes you have to sacrifice a little to get a lot

anonymeParticipantRob tuned me into that some time ago. He’d recommended one of the specialty burgers, but I only wanted a lil’ Zip size. I’ve found Zippy’s will accommodate almost any request. HUGE difference in attitude from Red Mill up north…
