Tried out this new small business in White Center on Saturday afternoon. I’ve never had beignets, but always wanted to try them. Here’s why this should be your go-to place for beignets and donuts:

    1. They make the beignets to order – so they’re as fresh as can be. Warm and delish!

    2. They put the powdered sugar in a separate bag, so you can add as much or as little (for dieters – haha!) as you want.

    3. Unlike certain other donut places, they make their donuts on site.

    4. The co-owner was as sweet as sugar – just an absolutely lovely woman.

    5. It’s a hipster-free zone: just a simple space with a counter – no tables with people glued to their laptops or smartphones.

    6. The owners are a hardworking couple – they put in the long hours, as well as plenty of love.

    7. Prices are ridiculously reasonable, and one bag of beignets can easily feed two.

Keep in mind: At this time, they take cash only.

Also, they don’t sell coffee – you’ll have to get it elsewhere.

My wife (who was born in raised in NOLA) and I just got back from Mardi Gras a few weeks ago and have been dying to try this place out. We don’t care if they stack up to Cafe Du Monde or not, having a beignet shop out here is great news! (Anything would beat what Seattle Center used to have in the Armory)

For her birthday in April we’re planning on hitting the Crawfish house for a few lbs of mudbugs and then getting some beignets to go for dessert. Looking forward to it and glad to hear people are enjoying them! :)

We had the beignets on Saturday, they were delish! I tried a chocolate coconut doughnut too, it was also yummy. Now I have to try to forget they are there or this could become a serious problem.

I hate to admit that I went there twice the first week they were open. Generously sized beignets for a fantastic price.

    Cake donuts were good too.

Does anybody know their hours? I saw on yelp open until 8pm but sometimes yelp isn’t correct.

Another thing, I read that they don’t have seating. Still true?

Anyone know if any of their products are vegan?

Just an FYI: I went in there at 5:57pm last night and they were closing at 6pm. They close at 5pm S-Th and 6pm F-S. The info on Yelp is wrong. (oh, and the beignets were great! They made us an order on the spot and we were out a minute after 6!)
