eyeyeParticipantAlways such a great and friendly staff and owner at Husky. They just never seem flustered or overwhelmed or negative in any way in the midst of the masses of people who flock to their business.
Three cheers for Husky, all of their great food and ice cream, and for always being so friendly and kind!

christopherboffoliParticipantI must say that I was impressed to learn that they carry tins of Spanish Merula olive oil which is wonderfully grassy tasting and is not all that easy to find on the West Coast. Not to mention their selection of British candy, including Cadbury Crunchies whose golden, spun sugar goodness makes me miss London every time I eat them.
I don’t know who does their grocery buying but someone there has REALLY good taste.

hopeyParticipantAs much as I love their ice cream, I recently bought a container of specialty mustard at Husky Deli which was at least six months out of date. Bad me for not checking the date before I bought it. Didn’t complain, chalked it up to my own mistake. But I would caution folks buying their specialty items to check before purchasing.
Husky Deli’s ice cream and sandwiches are still great though!

flowerpetalMemberIt is difficult for me to consider going to Husky just for the ice cream…Full Tilt has me spoiled. However, I would go to Husky on a sunny day or a summer evening just for the social hour of people hanging out on the sidewalk; cute kids getting sticky faces; happy dogs; and the conviviality of it all. That’s what Husky has for me.

LKTParticipantI love Husky deli, too: for the food, the community, the tradition. The Millers- all three generations who work there- are lovely people, and give back to our community in many ways. It’s the first place I let my daughter go on her own to meet with friends for a treat- she could feel independent and I could feel safe!

DreamrJennMemberThey make the best artichoke turkey sandwich and their coffee oreo ice cream is awesome. I once watched a lady get impatient for no reason during a little lunch rush. She hadn’t even waited long before huffing and walking out and all I could think was how sad for her that she is not only going to miss out on an amazing lunch but also that she was so stressed over a little line. Really the line always moves quickly and its worth the wait!
