addParticipantHeld a small fundraising event at C&P Coffee Co (5612 California Ave SW) last weekend. All I can say is that Cameron & Peter and their staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly, helpful, generous and all around great hosts. What a wonderful venue for hanging with your friends for coffee in the morning or wine & music in the evenings. Do yourself a favor and stop by soon!

JenVMemberAMEN! C&P is the best. And such a cool house.
June 3, 2009 at 6:50 pm #668658
JimmyGMemberThey’re the best, it’s where I hang.
June 3, 2009 at 9:50 pm #668659
vincentMembersadly, they appear to like dogs and bikes, both sworn enemies of the WSB forum community. I think they play loud music as well, which is three strikes your out.
June 3, 2009 at 10:57 pm #668660
ellenaterMemberlmao.
And they are friendly, responsible, and not passive/aggressive. WHERE does it stop?
June 3, 2009 at 11:54 pm #668661
sam-cParticipantwait, what about kids, Vincent, depending on the (forum) person, we need to know if you can go here to AVOID kids OR if you can go here and BRING your kid!
June 4, 2009 at 12:03 am #668662
vincentMemberoh thats it, I am writing a strongly worded letter.
June 4, 2009 at 1:58 am #668663
ellenaterMemberdon’t forget to use at least three pages of legislative quotes to back it up.

OlMomParticipantCash only – no cards- not a judgment just an FYI
June 4, 2009 at 6:17 pm #668665
ellenaterMemberthey take cards. don’t they?
June 4, 2009 at 6:27 pm #668666
JoBParticipantVincent..
the C&P is frequented by mother’s groups.. who actually monitor the behavior of their children.. and the music is seldom loud… making them a good choice even for crusty old ladies who can’t handle loud music and unruly children.
i think bikes and dogs are both supposed to remain outside…
June 4, 2009 at 6:30 pm #668667
JenVMemberyes, they take cards.
June 5, 2009 at 2:50 pm #668668
dhgParticipantCameron and Pete have twins so they’re definitely child-friendly. Cameron herself has long experience with coffee and holds strong opinions on how to keep the quality consistent. I don’t think they take credit cards but I’ve seen them accept IOU’s many times.
June 5, 2009 at 5:49 pm #668669
vincentMemberI think the twins are an elaborate ruse, I have never seen more than one at the same time. Trick photography!
June 5, 2009 at 6:40 pm #668670
ellenaterMemberYou guys, they DO take cards. I know that for sure. I just used my card there AGAIN.
HAH, I too have only seen one at a time.
June 5, 2009 at 6:53 pm #668671
villagegreenMemberCards must be a fairly recent addition because they used to let me do IOUs whenever I didn’t have enough cash on hand. Excellent folks.
June 5, 2009 at 6:54 pm #668672
JenVMemberI saw both of the twins the other day, after I payed for my coffee with my debit card. ;)
June 5, 2009 at 7:18 pm #668673
vincentMemberlies, based on your posting history at the WSB I can only assume you were on drugs again. Drugs that make you see twins.
June 5, 2009 at 7:55 pm #668674
JenVMemberthat’s entirely possible, vincents.
June 19, 2009 at 12:27 am #668675
rykriteMemberLove love love love LOVE C&P. Cam & Pete are fabulous, and I like both of their kids, too. :-)
And the coffee is the best anywhere.
Definitely where I like to hang.
June 19, 2009 at 5:43 am #668676
ellenaterMember“vincents” lmao!
mad props, JenV.
I love me some C&P. It’s an oasis, really.
ONE twin only, though. Cameron will even allude to admiting it if you get her drunk enough.
June 19, 2009 at 5:52 am #668677
SusanMemberMore love here for C&P.
I’m biased because I live less than a block away from this place, but it’s always friendly and always has the yummiest coffee on the planet.
I wish the music weren’t so loud sometimes on weekday mornings (I work from home and would love to find a nice, quiet place to work as an occasional alternative to the corner-of-my-bedroom-home-office where I spend lots of time) but C&P is always wonderful.
