    Postal Pandemic Appreciation Day
Any locals who want to show appreciation to their letter carriers who are working dilligently on the front lines during this pandemic to bring us our essentials (with a smile)? Lets gather in the Westwood Post office parking lot, along the hedge, or the parking lot directly across from it (while practicing social distancing of course) and cheer and wave to to carriers as they leave the station for their routes. They usually leave the station about 8:30-9am. Home made signs to show your appreciation are encouraged!
    Time: Monday morning 8:30-9am
    Place: Westwood Post Office
    2721 sw Trenton St
    Seattle, Wa 98126

Great idea! If your delivery is in the afternoon on a day over 75 degrees, keep a bottle of water in your fridge and ask if your carrier needs it…it looks like a hot summer ahead!
