mom2boysParticipantIs there a restaurant in West Seattle that has a separate space for a party of around 40?

WSBKeymasterI can’t remember the # but when we toured Shelby’s, pre-opening, with the owner, he pointed out two spaces appropriate for parties – a private room on the left side of the restaurant (looking in from the front) that I don’t believe was that big, and a partitioned area toward the back (kitchen) that could be configured for events like Little League, birthday parties, etc., which might fit your needs. Also, Salty’s on Alki (disclosure: WSB sponsor) has banquet rooms downstairs – we’ve often attended Rotary, Chamber, and other groups (some with attendance up to 200) in those areas. I don’t know if it’s reservable, but the loft at Elliott Bay Brewing in The Junction would seem to have that kind of capacity. Just a few thoughts. Good luck! – Tracy

wseakellParticipantI second Tracy’s suggestion of Salty’s – we had our wedding reception there and it was beautiful with delicious food and great service. I believe they have three rooms downstairs, which can be put together to accommodate any number of guests; one room would probably hold 40.
Second, I believe you can use the upstairs area of Ephesus Restaurant, which has amazing views to go along with their delicious food. I’m not sure if it can accommodate 40, but remember it being pretty large so worth a call.
Lastly, you can also reserve the upstairs area of Duke’s, which I think could accommodate a party of 40. We had our rehearsal dinner there and once again – great food, great service, great ambiance.
There are probably more, but those are all three that I’ve experienced and love!
