Part time nanny share needed for toddler in alki area

Our wonderful nanny share just ended in December and we are looking for another laid-back family to re-join us! We have a great nanny who’s been with us for a year, that we’d like to share with another family in West Seattle. She cares for our sweet little boy (19 months) out of our home near Alki Beach M-F from 10:30-4:30pm, and we are looking for another little boy or girl of similar age to join us for some–or, all–of those days. We would also consider a family with more than one child, as long as one child is close in age to our son. There is a little flexibility on hours, lots of flexibility on days, and tons of fun to be had together! We love walks, trips to the park and the beach, playing games, dancing, music, and other activities, and our philosophy is the more the merrier! The hourly rate is $12.50/family for two kiddos and our nanny is worth it! Our home is super kid-friendly in a wonderfully walkable neighborhood, and our nanny has ten years of experience as well as a degree in Child Development from UW, so you know your little one will be in good hands–she is part of our family and we have no doubt she’ll quickly become part of yours. We loved our old nanny share and were sad to see it end, but we are excited for the next little friend to come into our lives!

We are hoping to find someone for our share as soon as possible.

Hi,

My wife and I are starting to look for part time child care our little girl. She is younger (almost 4 mos) so I am not sure if that is even an option for you. We are both obviously nervous and just started our search. My wife is considering returning to work part time, and mostly we would need a “drop in” type of situation. I work sporadically out of town so am able to watch her when Im around. Any suggestions if this wouldn’t work for you? Good luck with everything.
