Check out Coding with Kids – we are looking for instructors to teach Web Development and Python to middle school students in person during the school day. We will provide paid training and practice sessions to get you ready! Candidates must live in the Seattle area to be considered. (Application instructions are listed below)
What the job is like:
As an instructor, you will teach 3-5 classes a week throughout the entire school year. We provide the curriculum for all classes as well as set hours per semester. Your focus would be to learn and teach the curriculum, build relationships with your students and their parents and most of all, have fun! Bring your knowledge and creative ideas to class – teaching the kids is so rewarding, especially when they light up upon learning something new.
What’s the commitment:
This is a unique opportunity to teach coding during the school day part time [certification not required]. The program will run during the entire school year and follow the Seattle School District calendar. Extra hours are also available to teach online classes if desired.
