Highland Park Corner Store is a neighborhood gathering spot, serving quality locally sourced coffee and pastries to the communities of Highland Park and greater West Seattle. Our mission is to build community through food, drinks and a welcoming environment to enjoy them with friends and neighbors.
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated barista that is interested in helping us build this community gathering spot.
What you’ll be doing:
– Making and serving specialty coffee and tea beverages
– Greeting and building relationships with customers
– Following guidelines regarding cleanliness, safety, and COVID compliance
– Serving pastries and ready-made items
– Processing cash and credit card payments
– Keeping coffee and food products stocked
– Supporting the store with other side work as needed during your shift
Please reach out if you:
– Have an interest in building community
– Can contribute to a positive and respectful work environment
– Are dependable and team-oriented
– Have at least 2 years barista experience, with a strong understanding of espresso, milk steaming, and latte art
– Can commit 20-25 hrs/week, between 6am-3pm
– Are 18 years of age or older
