The bob needs to find a good ophthalmologist; basically, he needs something beyond the normal eye exam/glass prescription. He can no longer see to read and he loves to read (how’s that for a precise diagnosis?)

Any recommendations? We’re going to ask WS Optix for recs as well.

Been going for years to Dr. Lechner at West Seattle Eye Clinic.

They’re now in Westwood Village (after many years on 35th SW).

Charla, I see Dr. Weingeist at West Seattle Eye Clinic. I have some unusual things needed in my prescription, and he is one of the few doctors who “got it” and didn’t just tell me I was difficult when I said I was seeing 2 different eye charts. I’ve been very happy with him.

I’ve seen Dr. Lechner, too, for a couple 3 years now…like him quite a bit…very thorough. Have never been to Weinstein, but have heard many good things about him…nice to have a choice close by…

Well, my recommendation is also West Seattle Eye Clinic. I “see” Dr. Thomas Mulligan and he’s been great for my needs!
