jobsgrassrootsParticipantGrassroots Team is seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as a Canvasser. As a Canvasser, you will be working to canvass and fundraise on behalf of our amazing non-profit partner Greenpeace USA. We work for the critical mission of fighting to end toxic plastic waste, standing up to the fossil fuel industry, and working to stop public health crises caused by climate disasters across our country. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, customer service, and engaging people in conversations on important issues.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated neighborhoods to canvass and fundraise
– Engage with homeowners and provide information about our partner’s campaigns
– Explain the benefits of our offerings and answer any questions or concerns
– Collect and enter data from surveys and conversations with community members
– Collect contact information from interested individuals for follow-up
– Attend team meetings and provide feedback on community responses
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions
– Hours: Monday – Friday: 1 PM to 9 PMQualifications:
– You do not need experience in canvassing or fundraising
– You must be comfortable canvassing and fundraising door-to-door in neighborhoods
– You must be comfortable canvassing door-to-door sales
– Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
– Ability to work independently and meet targets
– Must be self-motivated, energetic, and have a positive attitudeBenefits:
– Base Pay: $21.69
– Training Pay: $20.00
– You can earn hourly raises up to $3/Hour with promotions up to Field Manager
