My husband and I are looking for a loving, active and fun nanny to care for our 3 month old son. I am currently pregnant and expecting in mid-August. We are hoping to begin care in late October with 1-2 weeks training and transition time with Mom. I am returning to work full time November 10th and will need care Monday through Thursday, 7:30am-5:00pm. If available & interested, Fridays and/or some weekend hours may be included on an as needed basis.

Our ideal care giver will ensure our son gets regular naps, interacts and plays in accordance with his developmental stage, takes regular walks in the neighborhood and is consistent with feedings and food progression. Basic upkeep such as bottle cleaning, baby laundry and toy tidying are desired. Infant CPR & First Aid, valid WA state drivers license and insurance, as well as, clearance for the Washington State Criminal Background check. Our home has 2 staircases so it is important for our candidate to be physically able to walk up and down stairs while carrying an infant. Our paid hourly rate for this position is $12-13.00/hour and will include food for breakfast, lunch and snacks for our caregiver.

We live in a great neighborhood with excellent walking trails and streets and have 2 major parks less than 2 blocks away from our home.

In your response please include your childcare/nanny experience, why you are interested in this role, 2 references with phone and email.

Hey there, my name’s Bethany. I am currently interested in this job because I need a second job, and it’s close to my primary jobs work. Hours tend to slow down in the fall. I have plenty of nanny experience, but primarily with only two families. One family had two children, and I nannied them every summer (babysitting in between and on school breaks) for about ten years. Another I did for about two and half years (2 children) until they moved. I also have plenty of experience with my new born niece and nephews at the time, while my sister went out of town. Thanks! Bethany
