Hey all,

My wifes iPhone got stolen this past week and I am looking to buy another one. We are looking for an iPhone that is STILL under an Apple Care plan. Feel free to private message me any offers or good deals :).

Kamranistan – Check out AT&T’s refurb section, apparently they’ve got 8gb 3G for $50 (I don’t know if there are any strings attached or not).

charlabob – Since there isn’t a sticky about it anymore, I’d go out on a limb saying that we probably won’t be having PMs again.

If your wife’s iPhone was a second generation 3G with GPS and you happen to have a .Mac account through Apple (I know….two “ifs” but I wanted to be sure you knew about this) there is a new feature called “Find My iPhone” that will give you a map in real time of where the phone is now. I have heard of a few cases in which people and/or the police have been able to track down stolen iPhones. You can also wipe the data off the iPhone remotely which is nice too.

Hey all,

Unfortunately we didn’t have MobileMe so “Find My iPhone” won’t work out. I also contacted ATT about the refurb deal but it would require signing up for an additional contract. I’ll just have to wait it out until someone wants to get rid of theirs :).
