happy hourParticipantAnyone know of waterfront condo to rent for reasonable price. Can’t afford hotels and time shares. Very reliable, clean and good person. Have references for owners who don’t like renting to general public. Thank you!

squareeyesParticipantYou’ll need to be specific about what you consider to be a reasonable price. I was there in August – it was fabulous! The condo we rented in Kaanapali was more than we wanted to spend (nearly $300/nt) but had everything we could possibly want.
If you’re flying solo, you might consider a B&B. I did that on Kauai a few years ago as it was the most reasonably priced option. Wasn’t waterfront, but a block away wasn’t bad.

CMPParticipantMauian in Napili is great. Average cost is $180/night and they have kitchens in the rooms. Highly recommend it!

saneyMemberwe stayed here last summer:
it is right across the street from charlie young beach, which is very nice and not crowded. the condo was stocked with everything you would need. it’s an end unit on the ground level with a great lanai. the people who take care of the unit for the owner are a just a phone call away. plenty of parking, swimming pool near the unit, as well as gas grills and tennis courts.
very reasonable prices.

saneyMemberjust a bit north of the condo i recommended is a public park. right across the street is a great shave ice place. every evening, locals and tourists gather at the park with their shave ice and watch the sunset. it’s a very friendly routine that we were happy to take part of.

timh2oMemberThe Napili Surf is great. Went there the last two years and will go again next summer. I’m not much for parking myself somewhere when I travel but this place changed my mind. Plus my 4 yo loves it there. Check the prices.
The Garden apts are nice but one cant compare them to the fancy ones up the road.
