Lincoln Park

Just thought folks (especially women) might want to know that there is a male about 65-70 with white hair, no bicycle helmet, riding an upright bike at the south end of Lincoln Park between 10:45-11:30 or so that comes up behind you with no bell, warning and yells profanity at you. It happened to me about 10:50 or so after I had gone down the hill and I was just beyond the posts entering the park-he zipped by me and startled me, and then when I was about to the restrooms, (he’d stopped further down and turned around), came at me calling me an a$$h*le. After I’d gotten around the swimming pool, I came upon two

women around 65 or so who said he’d done something similar to them earlier, and had startled a young woman with a dog so that she almost fell.

I had never seen this guy previously, and I routinely walk around the perimeter of the park at different times of the day. I’ve notified Park Security and they are going to see if he’s still there and speak with him if he is.

Please tell the police. They do want to know. It may be no more than this; but this could also escalate into something tragic.
