seattleamigaMemberJust lost my old Lucydog. She lived to a ripe old age of 15. I have a brand new dog bed from Costco, about 20lbs of Kirkland brand “mature” dog food, and some biscuits. It would be great if these could go soon. Also have a dog dish, watering jug/dish and leash.
Located near Westwood Village.

carrieannMemberI don’t have a use for the items (we’re currently a goldfish + frogs + butterflies household) but wanted to offer my condolences on the passing of your pup. May she rest in peace.

furryfacesParticipantseattleamiga, very sorry for your loss of your animal companion.
We would be honored to receive Lucydog’s items and make sure they get to one of our clients that would not be able to afford such a nice bed, accessories and quality food. Please feel free to email us at furryface@hotmail.com

WednesdayMemberSo sorry to hear about Lucy : ( May I suggest you make a page for her at Dogster.com where you can share photos and memories of her.

anonymeParticipantI got choked up just reading these posts. Only last night I was looking at my dog, who is barely five years old, and thinking “what am I going to do when you leave me?” Our canine and feline companions give us so much, and yet they’re with us for such a short time. Relatively speaking, that is. Amiga, I’m sorry for your loss.

GoGoParticipantDjango, Henry and I are very sorry for your loss too. I know I will be inconsolable when the time comes for my kids.

seattleamigaMemberThank you all so much for your very kind words. It’s still quite raw and the house seems so empty. She lived a good life, a yellow lab making it to 15 was a gift for sure. I asked her to let me know when it was time and she did.
Please give your furry one an extra hug and kiss for me and my Lucy girl.

voodooMemberOh, now my eyes are tearing up, as well. I’m so sorry to hear that you had to say goodbye. It is never easy. My feline companions, Pepe and Zanzibar, also extend their condolences.

charlabobParticipantThe Katskys, the bob and I all extend our paws in sympathy — we lost our Glab, Max, a couple of years ago and even the Katskys still miss him. Lucygirl sounds like a real sweetie.

ws4everMemberbump My sweet guys send their love.

westcoastdebParticipantand not that it will ever replace the love of your doggy, I have several that you can cuddle if you ever feel the need. The 4 of us send our condolences. I am watching my heard age and trying to prepare myself for the inevitable (2 of them are 12+) and I know that it has to be a rough patch.
