We saw an injured Canadian Goose in Lincoln Park, near the softball diamond on the South end of the big parking lot. It looks like it has a broken or badly injured left leg. I tried to contact PAWS and also the Wild Animal rescue center in Lynnwood. No one can transport the bird because of staffing problems. After trying for about 30 minutes, to get help, I had to leave. I had my dog along, so I couldn’t try to approach it. If anyone is able to help this poor bird, it is trying to move around and may be further South of the Diamond by now.

Since it’s on city property you might try the Seattle Animal Shelter even though their stated policy is that they don’t deal with wildlife…

So to see an injured animal/bird and to be worried about it “Justus2” shouldn’t do anything for the bird because it is considered to you as “Circle of life”?
So if they were to see you hurt in the park with an injured leg people are to just walk away and say to you, it’s just the “Circle of life” bye bye.
