If you are on Lake Washington Blvd, you can access the bike path. Or from MLK Blvd, you can walk east through the park, go through the Mt. Baker Tunnel, and then you’ll end up on at the west end of the bridge and can walk out there that way too. It is confusing up in that neighborhood- study google maps and their street view so you don’t get lost!

I am sure there will be lots of people heading that way that all you have to do is find a place to park and follow the leader. :)

One year we went over to the Mt Baker neighborhood (parking where we could nearby) at S. Irving/32nd Ave S. (right over I-90) and found a great spot to watch the Blue Angels and time trials. People there told us there’s a pedestrian/bike entrance to the I-90 tunnel near there, I just don’t know exactly where (sorry).

“The bridge will be closed to all pedestrians and bicyclists 30 minutes before closing for cars.”
