What does it cost/entail to move boulders? These are about three feet by whatever. Can “bodies” do it together, or is it forklift + big truck endeavor? (I think so…) Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

Anything bigger than a half man (about 100lbs) rock should probably be moved by machinery. I did a rockery with half man rocks and they were plenty hard to move and I am a pretty big guy. I would call a place like Burien Sand and Gravel as a start.

    Thanks, ZG. Half-men they are…

I have moved them with a hand truck with balloon type tires.

It was very dangerous but I had way more time than money and built a path out of paving stones to each place I had to move them.

You can also “roll” them using small galvanized pipes or something similar that you put underneath them. I’ve done this several times and it works pretty darn well. Still an athletic event, but not as hard as dead-weight lifting, LOL.
