    Hi There,

Just wondering if anyone happened to see the person who sideswiped my car, which was parked on Juneau between 35th and 36th? It happened between 5:30 PM, Friday (2/20) night and 10:40 AM, Saturday (2/21) morning. If anyone happened to get a license plate number, I would appreciate it so that I can try to recover some of the damages.

    Thanks for your help!

Will crosspost this to the home page and Crime Watch. Hope you have reported it to police already!

Sorry to hear about that. My son also was side swiped last night. He was parked on 44th north of Admiral for an hour and come out to his back door smashed and the wheel well scraped. People just need to do the right thing and take responsibility for the actions…we’d live in a better world!!

There was also another hit and run sidesweep on Holden between 35th and 36th. It happened sometime last night between 9:30pm and 9:30am. I am not even sure the owners know yet as the police officer that was out this morning did took a report and some photos and then left a business card under the windshield wiper of at least one of the cars that was hit. (There were at least three cars involved the running car, a car that was hit, and a Chevy Blazer that was hit by the victim car). I am sure the owners of these two cars would appreciate any information if anyone knows anything about this incident.

I saw those cars, yeahright, on my walk back from Tony’s Produce this afternoon.

At first I thought the one car had been towed and dropped off at the Auto Repair Shop, (spacing out for a moment that it’s not a body shop) then saw how it was slammed into the Blazer.

I know it doesn’t take *too* much of a hit to do significant damage, but it looks like the “perp” car must’ve been going at a pretty good clip, coming out of a turn, considering how close it was to 35th.

Happened to my Mini Cooper, parked properly on a wide stretch of Beach Drive between 4 PM and 6 PM Saturday. If anyone witnessed this, please let me know. Are the perps drunk, stupid, or what? Fortunately, the damage could have been a lot worse.
