Caffeine QueenMemberGeorge, our Real Change guy, lost his wallet Monday at PCC with his entire rent money.
Could you help us help him replace the money? You’ll find George outside the Post Office most days.
He’s super nice and really has become a part of the daily post office customers and a friend of the coffeehouse. We just posted a story we wrote about him a couple of months ago on the Hotwire Facebook page. He lost $300, has received $75 in donations but would be awesome if folks could help us!

JoBParticipantI first met George at Nickelsville…
he has worked really hard to put himself in a place where he has a place to call home and rent to pay.
A lost wallet is a hassle for most of us.. for George it is a catastrophe that could drive him back to the streets.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to help out for another week, which may be too late for his March rent, but will try to drop by and donate then.

gmabettyParticipantSo sorry to hear George’s loss. I know what its like. I do miss seeing him at QFC. I heard he was near the Post Office but am seldom in that area except by bus. I’m glad to hear he has a home.

elikapekaParticipantMy husband talked to George today at the post office and he has been getting quite a bit of support. He’s still a bit short of the rent money, but is very grateful and appreciative for the help he’s gotten. He’s a good guy and I’m so glad to see people step up to help him. West Seattle rocks!

he is working very hard to ensure that he doesn’t end up back on the streets
