Welcome to West Seattle! It is a GREAT place to live despite the occasional things that could make you go insane (dogs off leash, fireworks, dog poop deposited in your garbage can, people parking in front of your house, package thieves, etc.). Fortunately these don’t make everyone go insane and don’t happen to everyone every day.
You don’t even have to look very hard to see some of the awesome things about living here. Neighbors helping neighbors, kids releasing salmon into streams, neighbors that cut down blackberry bushes to beautify a sidewalk or paint over graffiti within a couple days of it being put up, flowers planted in roundabouts, free summer concerts, endless views of mountains and water. This really is a special place to live – hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
