KellyParticipantI’m looking for a good place for breakfast with kids. I am thinking of The Bohemian for brunch on Sunday, but I’m not sure if it is suitable for children (toddlers). Thanks for your help.

TheHouseMemberLuna Park, Easy Street, and Charleston Cafe are my top 3!!
All of them are great with kids!

MousePotatoMemberI agree with Luna Park and East Street; I haven’t been to the Charleston Cafe.

WesCAddleMemberEasy street is one of my favorites, but it is crowded and seating is close together. Sometimes hard for kids.
Also consider Endoline Joes.

celeste17Participantchelan cafe has a kid friendly place. Or the Charlestown Cafe is kid friendly.

B-squaredParticipanti would have to agree with TheHouse. And Bohemian is not somewhere i would recommend with kids. I think Christo’s on Alki would also work with kids.

CaduceusMemberThe Charleston, Easy Street, Rocksport, B’s or Luna.
Thumbs down to Endoline Joes. Awful food and awful service.

villagegreenMemberEasy Street is great, but tough to get into unless you arrive early. Luna Park is by far the best when it comes to kid friendliness. And this may sound strange, but Skylark is quite kid friendly as well. They have highchairs, plenty of space to spread out, and are rarely full. Oh yeah, and their food rocks.
Regarding The Bohemian, I haven’t been there for brunch, but they’re extremely kid/baby friendly during happy hour. We go there with a one year old and they always bring him free snacks and chat with us about their own kids.

carrieannMemberI have an almost 5-year-old and another under 2-years-old. If we’re staying in WS for breakfast/brunch, we tend to go to Luna Park, Endolyne Joe’s, or Charlestown Cafe (“Save our Mickey Mouse pancakes!”).

AnonymousInactiveMy daughter’s 9, but she LOVES Luna.
She also likes Easy Street (but I think that’s more about being able to giggle at the “WhoopA**” listed on the menu).

QueMemberWe have a 7 year old, and love Luna Park, but Circa is also fab (totally yummy food and they stock a couple boxes of little toys in the back near the coat racks)
Easy Street is fun, but often slow to get seated and can be loud.
Charleston is great of course.
I have also heard that Elliott Bay Brewery has started doing brunch (at least at their southern location in Burien, I don’t know about the Calif location, but might be worth checking out, as they rule as well) and they are SUPER family friendly.

LexMemberRecommend Huckleberry Square on Anbaum in Burien, just bout 15 min away from WS. great kid friendly menu.

CaduceusMember!!!!!!!!!!!!
Huckleberry Square is DELICIOUS.
I can’t believe I forgot about that place.
Thank you Lex, very much.

RainyDay1235MemberLuna Park Luna Park Luna Park. They would be less out of place if the kids were noisy there – plus they can ride the batmobile. Breakfast served all day – so no rush either.
But if you want more “room” and “less wait” the best brunch for your buck is Ama Ama.
Both have small plates you can make-to-order for kids.

jissyParticipantHere here for Chelan Cafe! I’ve seen some Mickey pancakes there… LOVE their pancakes!!!!
March 12, 2009 at 4:28 am #660082
CaitParticipantKids love the Luna Park! Let them play with the jukeboxes at the tables – it a favorite memory of mine as a kid. And all the AWESOME lunchboxes! The Charlestown was another place I loved as a kid. Three words. Mickey. Mouse. Pancakes.

BonnieParticipantI feel like a bad Mom because I don’t really care for breakfast so I don’t bring them to breakfast. All the suggestions sound great though!
