Hi BHarris, posting here is a great idea. You might also try Craigslist, checking for any postings for the item as “lost” and posting your own “found” ad.
I saw a Brownie girl scout collecting food for the food bank outside Westwood Village QFC with her brother(?) who was a boy scout in Pack or Troop 284. Not much to go on, I know, but it’s another small clue.
