foster mom and kittens anyone?

Well I have some moms and kittens that need a place to park it for a couple of weeks. Some of the moms are feral some are friendly. It is really easy, not alot of work. I provide cage, litter and food if necessary.

I also have some young kittens that need to grow up some where for a bit too :)

Or you can just come over and pet the fur balls.

Folks, you have no idea how rewarding it is just to go to Hammerhead’s to pet the furballs. They are delightful fun, and need to be around as many humans as possible early on. And they are sooooo cute, you just want to love them all. Please consider this. I am in an apt. w/ one cat already, and can’t foster, but I’ve been to pet and play. Gives you the warm fuzzies inside :)

In case anyone is wondering about feral (a sometimes misunderstood word) moms and what that entails…it’s absolutely true what Hammerhead says about it being easy fostering. They have no desire to come out and sit in your lap, but they aren’t going to go crazy-wild on you either! They simply need time and space in the kennel to continue nursing their kittens, the best way for the babies to grow and stay healthy. Refreshing litter/food/water is really all they require. Often the kittens are more comfortable with humans than mom as they get older, making it all the more possible to socialize them for adoption. If you’re interested in fostering, please call to discuss what might be a good fit – friendly nursing mom, feral nursing mom, weaned kittens – all different levels of involvement for sure, but all very gratifying! And yes, there is a ridiculous amount of cuteness flowing right now :)
