kootchmanMemberLet’s see if we can connect the dots. Obama slaps on 5 trillion in more deficits. He knows, we know, the way third world countries get out of this is to inflate the money supply. Print a lot of it, and make sure the dollar is cheap. In the short run… it looks great. Exports are easier to sell. Fluffs up the employment numbers too. Ahhh but inflation runs rampant. Now all you Medicaid folks (who paid into that entitlement program which you will lose to Obamacare) and you SS, disability for fixed income folks… here comes the beast. Food prices are soaring. Energy and fuel are soaring… BUT while you have supposed cost of living adjustments… neither of them is included in the Consumer Price Index..which is used to measure core inflation. Your housing bubble, the last reserve of most middle income to cover inflation or the inevitble increasing costs of age… your bubble has burst… housing prices are still falling. Figure your home is on average worth what it was in 1995. The Treasury to prop up Obamanomics, is holding down interest rates .. the fixed income of most retirees, as they transit out of growth investments to fixed annuity payments. Your dollar is falling in value. Now, one could say this was an historical opportunity for the younger families to get some cheap assets… but they have a 17 trillion dollar deficit to pay for, an average college debt of over 50K….and the credit markets are tight. Now, put Obamacare on their backs…. and they will be just like your much vaunted Euro states… broke as a stick, living to support federal programs. I like your A and B comparisons DBP… because the system was supposed to be self sustaining.. I remember the promises. What makes ya think Obamacare will be any closer to the mark? It won’t. You can count on it being just like SS or Medicaid… it will see higher premiums, more restrictions, and you will end up dying in the traces, working until 70 years old. And, you will have fewer assets to cover those costly last years.
If A, and B didn’t add up DBP… it was government projections and revenue that didn’t add up. Like tolls are overestimated, state employee pension plans are under estimates by cost and overestimated by investment returns, …
The commerce clause says government can regulate commerce… not create it,

kootchmanMemberAhhhh… he goes one better…. yesterday, in secret, Hussein Obama. potentate, signed into law… if you protest, carry signs, assemble for protest and a secret service agent says you can’t.. it is now a felony. So if you muck up another Air Force One campaign trip (108 so far) with a protest sign along the motorcade route and spoill his photo op… the secret service can halt it. Worse, since the new wecret service rules says the Potentate can grant secret service protection at his whim…he can extend that protection at his whim. A campaign staff member, Democratic candidate. Let’s see… that would be, freedom of assembly, free speech and the right to petition your government.
“Also, while H.R. 347, on its own, is only of incremental importance, it could be misused as part of a larger move by the Secret Service and others to suppress lawful protest by relegating it to particular locations at a public event. These “free speech zones” are frequently used to target certain viewpoints or to keep protesters away from the cameras. Although H.R. 347 doesn’t directly address free speech zones, it is part of the set of laws that make this conduct possible, and should be seen in this context. ACLU”
That means…all you Occupy fans… if you are in a public venue, and the secret service doesn’t like it… you can be charged with a felony… so much for that hopey changey open government thing. How close to facism do you all want to go? Protest across the street from his hotel for his $32,000 per plate fundraiser? The SS can declare it “secure” ground and order your removal.
Read it and weep… “Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011”
‘(1) the term ‘restricted buildings or grounds’ means any posted, cordoned off, or otherwise restricted area–
‘(A) of the White House or its grounds, or the Vice President’s official residence or its grounds;
‘(B) of a building or grounds where the President or other person protected by the Secret Service is or will be temporarily visiting; or
‘(C) of a building or grounds so restricted in conjunction with an event designated as a special event of national significance; and
‘(2) the term ‘other person protected by the Secret Service’ means any person whom the United States Secret Service is authorized to protect under section 3056 of this title or by Presidential memorandum, when such person has not declined such protection.’

kootchmanMemberMore attacks on the constitution? In Texas, you have to present a photo ID to buy Sudafed, liquor, drive a car. But DOJ files suit against Texas,, a solid red state..for voter suppression by requiring a valid voter ID… now, note many states have this…. Ohio being one. In fact, The states are required to maintain a voter database uInder the Help America Vote Act of 2002. The states are empowered to design voter registrations… not the federal government. Using the DOJ as a political tool….the same DOJ that refused to prosecute club totting New Black Panther Party members AT THE POLLING location… talk about voter suppression. These my liberal friends are the assaults on liberty and constitutional freedoms that will trump $ 9 prt month sideshow issues.

You all remember this? DOJ refused to charge voter intimidation..Holder dropped the suit …a little voter suppression? Imagine if a white dude wearing white rob did this at a polling station in Alabama? This is our DOJ, our Obama Man

Liberals? defend this one.

redblackParticipantHow can a politician on taxpayer-subsidized health care claim that what’s good enough for him is too fancy for the rest of us? What a hypocrite.
well-said, DP. and don’t forget his pension.
kootch: if any of your conspiracy theories hold water – which i highly doubt – you’re just mad that democrats are working out of republicans’ playbook.
you guys wrote the book on gerrymandering, voter suppression, and election tampering. so don’t be getting all high and mighty on us now.
March 13, 2012 at 3:31 pm #750115
kootchmanMemberredblack… you’d justify anything. Gerymandering is as old as dirt… happens everytime a congressional district is lost or gained. But do remember all of this …. when the backlash snaps your head back. It has the base fired up. I see Obama slipped 9 points in approval ratings. The word is seeping out….the man cares not a whit for the constitution and is trampling it into the dirt. See how that plays in Ohio….. BTW… for your enjoyment… MN going right to work..see how that all works? Left jab..and a right hook. And we have all the guns, The Supreme Court, and congress. Throw a little $5 per gallon gas on the flame … and hell it starts to look like a mob. Isn’t that what he called us.. a buncha gun totin religious fanatics? Al this comes out of the video vault and his abysmal record. .. soon, very soon.
March 13, 2012 at 3:36 pm #750116
JoBParticipantkootch…
I am so grateful to Republicans for firing up the base..
my base is really fired up about women’s rights
or didn’t you notice all those women who pulled Rush’s sponsors from him quicker than you could say jack rabbit…
you guys just keep right on firing up that base for me :)))))
nothing like a “good” man to warm the cockles of a woman’s heart
March 13, 2012 at 3:37 pm #750117
JoBParticipantredblack..
i am not so happy about democrats taking a leaf from the republican playbook.
lately, it seems more difficult to tell the two apart:(
March 13, 2012 at 4:30 pm #750118
kootchmanMemberJob… he lost 9 points….after the dust up…. people are starting to ask…why is he draggin our arses into this crap? We have $5 gal gas, and an effective unemployment rate of over 12%, a GDP that won’t grow 2%….we have problems and this is the best he can do?The more it gets aired, the weaker the talking points. Fluke was outed as a sham…. straight from central casting. Anita Dunn who represents Pelosi, Maloney etc…. serious governance… run a poll, find a divisive issue and then exploit it …. coming together the Obama way.
March 13, 2012 at 5:13 pm #750119
JoBParticipantkootchman…
9 points.. wow .. 9 points
if this was a sporting match i might be impressed
but even then i would remind you that no game is over until it’s over…
but this isn’t a sporting match, is it?
it’s the single most important issue facing Americans right now
who will lead our government
that by the people for the people stuff
it matters too much to let escalating rhetoric distract us from the issues that matter
you say the issue that matters is economic security
but when you use that term
you really mean the economic security of businesses
not the economic security of individuals
you say the issue is religious rights
but when you use that term
you really mean the right of religious institutions to be exempt from public policy
not individual religious freedom
I say hogwash.
Redefining terms doesn’t change the fundamentals
by the people for the people
not by the institution for the institution
“find a divisive issue and then exploit it”
isn’t that a little like the pot calling the kettle black kootch?
it’s part of the republican playbook that i wish democrats would put aside…
the truth really does speak for itself
and the more often it speaks
the more likely people are to listen
March 13, 2012 at 6:07 pm #750120
kootchmanMemberNo. I tried it. I voted for the current POTUS. Within weeks, Pelosi and her Senate allies took up the cudgel of blood sport. There was an air of complete contempt and she drove a wedge soo deep into a majority conservative leaning country…. I think never to be repaired. I’ve been in this rodeo long enough to say it was never a more blatant demonstration of intolerance. This was your woman-in-charge… Uh huh.. If the truth were to be told, she, more than republican “playbooks” took the Obama administration down. The backlash was an unprecedented stripping of her and house powers. It was a breathtaking rollback. something not seen in almost 100 years of electoral politics, We saw unrestrained democratic politics and the country flipped out..I doubt you will ever get the same chance. . it was that transparant. Hundreds of democratic congress persons were handed walking papers. there were magazine articles …republicans were “irrelevant”.. and after W… I thought they may be right. Obama, unlike Clinton, Bush, Reagan had no control of his party as the titular head. He appeared weak, and hardly lived up to his campaign promise. We know he is not capable of being a president for ‘all” the people. Yes, religious institutions can be . It is a bedrock founding principal of this nation..the church is protected from the state, bot in establishment and free exersize. You might want to read that first amendment over again. The state is strictly prohibited from interfering in the practice of that religion. We are going to exploit every single divisive issue …and we have lots of them. You say hogwash… an insult unto itself. Hogwash is not the language of tolerance. It’s like calling us right wing, church going, gun nuts… remember that? In a nation where 170 million bear arms. Where the NRA has more members than NOW. Not smart. We gave the democrats their shot… it was arrogance and hubris of the first order. Ya think the American people will give them a second chance? That won’t happen. Institutions are the collective of individuals with common purpose. The steady drip of acid and bile. At best, Obama gets a failing grade for his inability to do nothing more than create polarizing antagonisms. Even moderates and independents say it ain’t working.. try something new. We are tired of Obama. We are tired of a moralizing arrogance. Big bad corporations…who Obama is frantically counting on to hire.
March 13, 2012 at 6:38 pm #750121
JoBParticipantkootch..
i am not sure what world you live in..
but i am sure it isn’t the same one i inhabit.
When Nancy Pelosi takes advantage of a democratically controlled house
she drives a wedge into American Politics
but when Boehner does the same thing, he takes advantage of opportunities
not only that..
but Boehner gets a total pass for the obstructionism he led in the house.
Is that what you call giving the democrats their shot?
You don’t think that Republicans who put social issues over governance contributed to that great divide?
i would count the ways this is wrong…
but you wouldn’t hear them.
LOL kootch..
you are a master of accusing democrats of the tactics you admire and celebrate in Republicans
and if the democrat you attack is a woman..
you consider it a real win win.
but don’t call you a sexist
you love women
Hogwash!
And btw..
relabeling calling bad ideas hogwash as intolerance..
More Hogwash!
I didn’t call any individual names..
i said that the arguments you presented were hogwash.
“At best, Obama gets a failing grade for his inability to do nothing more than create polarizing antagonisms.”
More Hogwash.
President Obama has managed to accomplish a great deal in spite of the constant obstructionism of the Republican party.
That steady drip of acid and bile you attribute to democrats?
Perhaps you should look closer to home
Your tea party candidates have been dishing out a steady dose of every kind of discrimination they could find “to appeal to their base”.
Now … what does that tell you about that base?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t tell me anything i want to hear.
LOL.. the intolerant demanding tolerance for their intolerance…
Sorry.. Hogwash!

oddrealityParticipantWith a user name like Kootch -man [vagina man for those that never got it]why would I even think you would respect a woman speaker of the house??Pelosi was reviled because she is a women. Conservatives seemingly cannot stand women or people of color having any “control” over their lives.Gotta have nothing but old white men telling us what to do !!Let me tell you this..there is a mighty backlash to that as well. Some of us are sick of it.More than you would like to think.
I am so sick and tired of reading pseudo-conservatives..all over the net on every board I read threatening the rest of us with all the guns they own. Not smart you say??We had better be careful or what?? You gonna shoot us all that do not agree with you with all those mighty guns??
Sorry but I have HAD IT with being threatened with your guns.[collective you not just you Kootchykootchy-koo ]No doubt about it, it is a very lightly veiled threat when it is used all over the internet as a tool to quiet the rest of us up.

in kootch’s defense..
even though his comments are often sexist in nature..
his pseudonym refers to something having to do with either music or bbq.. i don’t remember which
March 13, 2012 at 7:59 pm #750124
jamminjMembervaginaman: “effective unemployment rate of over 12%”
typical hypocrisy from tea partier – uses ‘effective’ rates unless it pertains to taxes.
March 13, 2012 at 8:10 pm #750125
oddrealityParticipantIt is what it is JoB.Whether he BBQs them or sings through them it is still the slang term for a vagina. :)
March 13, 2012 at 9:02 pm #750126
JanSParticipantI remember him explaining his name..it’s musical. This guy?
March 13, 2012 at 9:17 pm #750127
oddrealityParticipantMusical??Just because it may be a nickname given by musicians or to oneself it does not mean it means anything other that what it does to the rest of us. Google it. No where does it say “Kootch..a musical nickname” it says “a slang term given to vaginas”
So if I called my self c**kgirl would you all think I raised roosters??
Sorry, to ME it is what it is.I don’t care that he is called Kootchman here…but it still is what it is.You can’t convince me he does not know the meaning of the word.He is not stupid.

kootchmanMemberooddreality .. ya don’t know jack… if that is your only frame of reference. Google Kootchman… he was my first guitar teacher… go figure. Yeah,, the American people rose up in fury and told Bonehead …. stop them! TEA party? Remember? We prefer obstruction to suicide.
March 14, 2012 at 3:43 am #750131
redblackParticipantIsn’t that what he called us.. a buncha gun totin religious fanatics?
hmm. in way of a response, should i quote you verbatim from the forum archives, or what?
March 14, 2012 at 4:46 am #750132
oddrealityParticipantOF COURSE that is my only frame of reference,Kootch. How on earth would I know you had a guitar teacher with a name like that??? It did not Google up for me???I just tried..unless his info is cloaked on the internet to avoid detection by those of us that do not “know Jack”.Maybe I should have Googled it differently….Jack Kootchman ??
It could really only mean that to you right??Most people, unless they know you personally or have read where you may have made reference to your teacher would only have the same frame of reference as I do. No one else on here would “get it” unless you told. Which I have never read. Of course it could have been missed by me as generally speaking I try to not read all your anti Obama screeds. Lately I’ve slipped up.Best put on my hair shirt ~ though I hardly need it ~this is torture enough.
Have you got a link since Google did not toss anything out there for me? If I am wrong about you in this particular instance I’ll apologize to you more sincerely than Rush Limbaugh did to the women of America.
March 14, 2012 at 5:06 am #750133
JoBParticipantredblack..
please do us all a favor
and refrain from quoting Kootchman’s bombastic insults…
He knows what he said
and fortunately
all I remember now is the flavor..
not he content:)
