MBParticipantOooh, oddreality, fantastic point! I will try to just think of it that way from now on, maybe that will help :)
You are very welcome, Lemon ;) I really feel your pain. Sometimes when I’m out and about I just stop and look around think, “really??”
If you haven’t read the “pet peeve” thread, you should. If nothing else, it’s nice to know you aren’t the only one!

velo_nutParticipantI try my hardest to park my gas guzzling Land Rover as crooked as possible… Unless there is plant life close by, then I park as needed to squash it.
Side walks? I ride or run as fast as I can. Get out of my way people. I’m more important.
Whine whine whine whine whine. Nothing but bitchyness going on lately.
Sheesh.

CaitParticipantI have these days all the time, Lemon. I get on a tear (mostly about traffic) and I think “BY GOD! I’m going to go blog about this!” Then my dog is happy to see me. Then I remember there’s ice cream in the fridge. Then I remember that I have comfy blankets and a good book and I forget. But I will get you anything that one of these days I will push past the ole’ mutt and say “Not today, bud! MAMA’S GOT BUSINESS ON THE INTERWEBS!” I’m serious… I know it will happen one day.
Local awareness-oriented rants of mine include the following two things:
People who walk backward in Target while on their cell phones. It happens A LOT. Those people hold a spot in my heart reserved mostly for sour milk and cold steel toilet seats in January.
The second – people who block Alaska street right off Delridge by the community center. Blind hill. People just waiting there double parked for their kids to get out of soccer practice or whateverthehell WHEN THERE ARE SPOTS TO PARK. Or my favorite – two people in vans parked at the apex of said hill, windows rolled down, talking to each other, blissfully ignoring the fact that I can’t get past them! Ugggh. Every. Dang. DAY.

Aw c’mon, Cait! Give ’em a break!
They don’t have the luxury of having a supermarket in the area! ;-)
