WSBKeymasterIn true new-media fashion, this just came in via the Twitter feed of WSB sponsor Eagle Electric … and I wanted to share it here. They’re launching a coat drive – scarves, hats, gloves, etc., too:

and will send somebody by to pick up what you can offer, according to the full details you can read in that post!

celeste17ParticipantAre they coats in any size or just children? do they have to be new or gently used?

WSBKeymasterI don’t know anything more than what’s in the Eagle post to which we linked, but they’re really nice folks and I’m sure they’d be happy to answer any clarifying questions.

littlebrowndogParticipantAccording to their post they say something about going through one’s closets and finding old things you haven’t used in years.
This social conscience makes my following rave about them even stronger. Yesterday they came out to do some repair work. Given the age of our house I was fully expecting to hear that I needed some very expensive very serious work. I was amazed to have them replace the wiring in a socket and charge me only $50 for the whole visit. I could easily have been convinced I needed much, much more than that. I was going to rave about them today anyway, but this clothing drive and even coming out to pick it up doubles my rave.
