ljcoxParticipantUnleashed Dog Camp offers kennel free boarding and day care to friendly dogs of all kinds. Located on 25 acres in SE Renton, it’s paradise for humans and dogs alike.
We are currently looking for a driver for our West Seattle day camp route.
If you love dogs, are comfortable walking with a group of 12 dogs in an off leash environment, are exceptionally reliable, have a clean driving record, love to work hard and be outside, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities include picking dogs up from their homes, driving them to camp in Renton, walking around with them in a large fenced area, cleaning them up and bringing them home at the end of the day. You will also communicate with clients regarding their dog’s behavior, any changes in scheduling, and texting them pictures of their dog on a work issued cell phone. Keeping the van clean as well as the dog areas (poop scooping) is also important.
Also, if you live in or very near West Seattle and are able to park the van in a safe place while it is not in use, your commute would be in the company vehicle powered by company gas!
A background check will be performed prior to hiring. Ability to walk among running and playing dogs across uneven terrain and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds is also required.
Hours are 9am to 5pm M-F.
Teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, independent thinking and problem solving as well as an enjoyment of a fast paced work environment are also essential.
