cbj225Memberi just moved over to w. seattle and am looking for a dog groomer. am looking for someone who is reasonably priced, and does a good job. i don’t need anything fancy, just a wash and sometimes a haircut.

andreaParticipantI really like Stella Ruffington’s on California Ave, just south of the Morgan Junction at 7003 California 206-932-RUFF. They do a nice job of making the dog’s shine. If you want to try a do-it-yourself grooming space, we also use the Dog Wash on California Ave, this time just north of the Morgan Junction on the east side of the street. They give you all the supplies to wash, groom and dry your dog for a very pocket friendly price.

BayouMemberWe love the ladies over at the Wash Dog: http://www.thewashdog.com/
They are reasonably priced and always do an excellent job.

flowerpetalMemberI know that WSB readers sometimes grouse about Petco, but their grooming salon has always been good with our little one. She always comes back looking pretty and gets loads of adoration from the neighborhood after her grooming appointments. I imagine all of the groomers are good, but we make our appointments with Cashmere, or Ann.

JoBParticipanti have to give a big vote for Stella Ruffington’s … they have always done a great job, they are reasonable and the dogs love being there.

JimmyGMemberThe Wash Dog or Canine Casa are the two groomers I’ve used and would recommend.

livingonthebeachMemberCecelia at The Wash Dog is an amazing groomer. Our dog loves to see her! I also really appreciate how clean the place is. That says a lot about a business where you are suppose to make a mess.

shihtzuParticipantI’ve always used Muttley Crew Cuts on California. II like them and really liked the old owner, but…cheap they are not. And I hate to say it, but they are pricing me out.

BBMemberWe have been using Stella Ruffingtons for a couple years. Tammy (groomer) does a great job and since it is a doycare as well the dogs get to play a little before they get groomed (if you like). The thing I really like is that the grooming stand is out in front and you never see any “forceful” techniques.
