SENIOR CANINE COACH
A locally owned premier dog daycare/boarding/training facility is seeking a passionate, responsible Senior Canine Coach. We offer a unique service for West Seattle based clients by operating a school bus from West Seattle to our 7 acres ranch. Our philosophy is to provide the most personal and holistic care for our client’s dogs in a kennel-free, loving environment, which provides a challenging, energetic and fun work environment for the right person. We are looking for a person who shares our love and respect for animals/dogs and can become a valued member of our small team. We offer above average compensation, a family environment and room for growth into a management position.
Senior Canine Coach Requirements:
• Passion to care for dogs and love for dogs a must
• Ability to interact personably with clients a must
• Previous dog care experience with a good understanding of dog behavior and the ability to interpret body language
• Self-starter & Multi-tasker with good sense of humor
• High energy level & good physical condition (working outdoors)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a school bus
Criteria/Job expectations:
• Ability to positively interact with all sizes and types of dogs
• Ability to monitor dogs on a continual basis
• Must be able to quickly intervene and “think on your feet” to keep the dogs safe and happy
• Ability to address any dog behavioral issues in a timely, proactive manner
• Ability to work long shifts, weekends and overnights
• Ability to stand for several hours and be outdoors in all types of weather
• Excellent customer service skills
• Honest, Reliable & Team player
