Dirty water from mains

Today, 3 September, we have very discolored water running from the taps. Does anybody know what happened to the water supply?

Hi, we frequently publish reader reports of discolored water in the news section. What area are you in? Most important thing is that you report it to Seattle Public Utilities, 206-386-1800. Most often it’s a result of hydrant testing, which stirs the “sediment” – usually rust – in the line. But it can also be the result of a line break somewhere. = TR
