I have a rare limited edition Cannondale Sobe M400 CAAD2 Mountain Bike. It is in good condition, and has spent most of its life stored in a garage. Cash price reduced to $150…this is a great deal for this bike…it is super light and well made. I am seeing these posted in other locations for three times as much! jill.curry@comcast.net Pictures available or we can arrange for a viewing. Located in West Seattle near Target.

    Hi

What size is the bike, how old is it and why didn’t you ride it more?

The bike belongs to my son. He purchased it three summers ago I believe. At the time we lived in the country in Central Oregon where there was lots of riding area. Since then we have moved to Seattle and honestly, he has not ridden it once since we moved here. It just doesn’t interest him to ride a bike in the city. He is preparing to attend photography school and is selling off a few of larger belongings that he never uses in order to purchase some additional camera equipment. The bike has only been ridden a handful of times, and has been moved around in storage ever since. I think it has seen more scratches and wear in storage than it has anywhere else. I am not exactly sure how to measure it, but if I did it correctly it is a 21″ mens frame. My son is 6’3″ and rides it comfortably and I am 5’9″ and with the seat adjusted I can ride it comfortably as well. It could use some cleaning and possibly a tune up since it has been sitting for so long but it is a great bike. It’s super lightweight…I’m guessing less than 5 pounds. He is just in a rush to sell it, or would be listing it for a much higher price. I can email you pictures or can arrange for a showing if you interested :) jill.curry@comcast.net

Sold it!!! Thank you for all of the emails! :)

Muddy, glad you sold it. I think your guess on the weight is a bit off unless you are just selling a frame. One of the lightest bikes in the world is a road bike that comes in a little over 13 pounds so if you have a mountain bike that is under 5 pounds that would be worth thousands of dollars. . . . . .

I think the bike in question is around 21 lbs.

Sorry for the mistake on the weight…I was not trying to mislead people in any sort of way! Several of the websites I looked at listed this bike as less than 5 lbs so I must not have been reading any sort of reliable information. I am by no means an expert, and the gentleman that purchased it was very happy with it (and yes, he picked it up several times to feel the weight). Thank you for bringing that to my attention, though…. :)
