call from the US census?

ok, I filled my form in and sent it back, now I just got this weird call supposedly from the US Census Bureau telling me they had questions, that the call was required by law, that I was required by law to answer, wanting information. I hung up on them. Anybody else get a call like this?

A phone call interrogation is not required by law! at least not in the other censuses I have experienced!

glad to hear from someone else with similar experience

my completed form was mailed weeks ago, and yet I’ve received calls, plus now 4 times leaving business card on my door; for sure feeling harassed, want it to stop

and I live in apt bldg with security box that requires code to get in lobby door; so how is this guy getting in? does the census give workers access codes to secure buildings?
