TracyMemberI’m looking for a place that will do a brow wax and LEAVE the brows, not wax them into pencils. Any suggestions? (not Shanti Salon or Head-to-Toe tho please).
thanks in advance!

kmMemberI will only go to Gene Juarez in downtown Seattle as I think they do the best at making it look natural. Not too expensive ($20), but I’ll always spend a little more on brows to guarantee that I get what I want. My mom goes to the small nail salon next to Illusions (they recommended it) and they always do a great job on hers and its not too expensive.

JustSarahParticipantchangingtimes: threading’s not new at all; it’s just new-ish to the U.S. It’s been a popular hair-removal technique in Middle Eastern countries for quite a while. I’ve heard it’s great, but so far haven’t taken the time to look for a salon or person who does it.

guidosmomMemberI have tried several places and only go to Wax On. I go to the Bell town location, but there is one on Capitol hill too. http://www.waxon.com/ I have tried a few places in West Seattle but had bad results. I have really sensitive skin so am really picky about places.

MrsLMemberI second Bee Waxed spa. I just went there last night. Both Bren and Lindsay do a great job of shaping your brows.

rudyMemberI so totally add to the kudos for Bee Waxed. I have finally found the perfect place for my brows after searching for years. In fact, I was just in to see Bren last week and noticed that she had a newly framed article from Allure magazine on the wall – the blurb was about her spa. When I asked her about it she said the magazine had “mystery shopped” her and then put a plug in this month’s issue for her business. What a nice honor I thought!
