City council, on Monday, voted 8-0 to remove a requirement to spend 3/4 of the new $20 car tab fee on bridges. Where’s our representation Lisa Herbold?

She’s busy figuring out where else this money could be spent. After all, bridges are boring.

She needs to study the issue for 14 months.

I really don’t understand the bridge funding issue. There are already tolls. Tolls are automated. Make the bridges toll and drop the the car registration fees as a compromise. 110,000 trips on the high bridge is not chump change.
